Usui Reiki Therapy Treatment Sessions

Kimberly offers Reiki Therapy Treatment Sessions in the Seattle area. She customizes each session using Reiki healing touch and expands the sessions using other energy techniques, as needed, to suit the needs of the particular client.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a generic word in Japan and is used to describe any type of healing work based on Universal life force energy.

The Reiki, pronounced: "Ray Key" is channeled through the healer and received by the body of the client as gentle supportive healing energy.

How does Reiki Work?
Reiki works on the energy centers of the body called the chakras, and balances the body into a state of relaxation allowing it to access its own innate wisdom and thus healing occurs.

There is a direct correlation between the chakras and the structures of the nervous and endocrine systems.

The nervous and endocrine systems work together to balance the body/mind relationship on a physical and psychological level and the chakras perform this balancing on an energetic level.

What does Reiki do?
Reiki brings your body, nervous system, muscle tone and organs into balance. Reiki is very helpful in the treatment of physical, mental (anxiety, stress etc.) and emotional (fear, lack of confidence etc.) problems.

Most physical pain has a nonphysical root in negative mental patterns, emotional trauma or spiritual separateness.

To heal this "dis-ease", these roots must be found and treated. Reiki can be used as an adjunct to improve effectiveness of other kinds of therapy.

Reiki does not diagnose, prescribe or cure.
Reiki during pregnancy balances the energy shared by the mother and her baby and thus the bonding between the two separate life forces are enhanced.

It is calming, healing and very gentle, as it supports change,on an energetic, emotional, physical and mental level. Reiki is beneficial to people of all ages.

What does Reiki feel like?
The client will feel very relaxed and his/her breathing will become deeper and calming.

The client may feel a warmness as the Reiki energy is flowing into the body.

The session usually is most effective when the client has the intention to experience healing.

This work is done with the client fully clothed.
